We today offer high quality price forecasts as a cloud service for all markets in the day-ahead timeframe in Finland. That is, for FFR, FCR-N, FCR-D, aFRR Capacity, mFRR Capacity, and Nord Pool day-ahead (Elspot) markets, before the respective market gate closures, for the next day’s hours or quarters. Earlier an integral part of our OptiBid® multimarket optimization service for battery sites, we today provide the market price forecasts also standalone, enabling a larger customer base to maximize their market revenues.
This intelligence is essential for revenue maximizing production and bid planning of a broad range of flexible energy resources such as wind and solar power plants, electric vehicle (EV) charging fields, electric boilers, and schedulable data centers. The picture shows ElePrice quantile forecasts (P10-P90) and actual prices (Actual) during the period 5-7 November 2025. For example, the P70 quantile means, there is a 70 % chance the price will be below that forecast point.
